Good food starts with flavour.
Not the artificial kind hidden behind heavy sauces or preservatives, but real flavour — layered, balanced and built from quality ingredients that bring food to life.
That idea is what inspired King Valley Spices.
What began as experimenting with BBQ rubs, pasta seasonings and pantry blends for our own cooking quickly grew into something much bigger. We wanted to create spice blends that reflected the style of food we genuinely love to cook and eat — bold BBQ flavours, rustic pasta dishes, smoky slow-cooked meats and simple regional cooking shared around a table.
Made in Glenrowan in the heart of North East Victoria, King Valley Spices is built around small-batch production and hands-on blending. Every mix is designed with real cooking in mind, whether it’s seasoning brisket before a long smoke, finishing fresh pasta with garlic and chilli, or building flavour in everyday meals at home.
The High Country has always influenced the way we approach food.
There’s a strong connection here between local produce, country hospitality and cooking that brings people together. From BBQ gatherings and winter comfort food to fresh pasta and outdoor cooking, the region has a style and atmosphere all of its own — and we wanted the blends to reflect that.
Many of our products are inspired by the flavours we use ourselves across our brands and kitchens. Smoky BBQ rubs, chilli blends, garlic-heavy pasta seasonings and regional-inspired pantry staples all come from real recipes, real experimentation and a genuine passion for flavour.
We also believe spices should feel approachable.
Good seasoning shouldn’t be complicated. It should help people cook confidently at home, whether they’re smoking brisket for twelve hours, making a quick pasta after work or building a grazing table for friends and family.
As the range continues to grow, so does the vision behind it.
King Valley Spices is becoming more than just seasoning — it’s part of a broader celebration of regional food, local craftsmanship and High Country flavour.
And this is still only the beginning.
