In a world filled with mass-produced gift baskets and generic online ordering, we wanted to create something more personal. Something that feels connected to place. Connected to people. Connected to the High Country.
Every hamper begins the same way:
with thoughtful products we genuinely love ourselves.
From small-batch Glenrowan Whisky and handcrafted pasta to artisan preserves, local honey, spice blends and regional pantry staples, each item is chosen because it represents the flavour and character of North East Victoria.
Many of the products come from producers we’ve worked alongside for years. Others are made in-house through our growing family of brands, including Glenrowan Whisky, King Valley Spices and High Country Fine Foods. But regardless of where they come from, the focus is always the same — quality over quantity, craftsmanship over convenience.
No two hampers are ever truly identical.
Some are designed for birthdays and celebrations. Others are built for corporate gifting, thank you presents, Christmas hampers or simply sending a small piece of the country to family and friends interstate.
Kaylene personally tailors many of the hampers to suit the occasion, the recipient and the style of products being included. Sometimes it’s rustic and hearty. Sometimes elegant and refined. Sometimes centred around whisky, food or regional produce. The goal is never just to fill a box — it’s to create something memorable.
The presentation matters too.
Natural textures, timber tones, carefully wrapped products and locally inspired styling all help reflect the slower, more thoughtful approach we try to bring into the Providore itself.
For us, curated gifting is about more than selling products.
It’s about helping small regional producers thrive.
It’s about showcasing the craftsmanship of the High Country.
And it’s about creating genuine connections through food, drink and shared experiences.
Because the best gifts don’t feel mass produced.
They feel personal.
